So far, we've had this unit for over a month and works great. Love the ease of lighting the burners, the configuration of the burners and the power settings from each one. The notations on placement of each burner on the knobs themselves is great to have as well as the ability to easily clean the grates for the range top.

This is a $4500 range top with the brushed brass controls we have. After using this stove for about a month 3 knobs have broken and can™€™t be used. I am appalled at the quality for the price. Would not buy another GE high end appliance.

Not fired up with my brand choice of gas range

Not feeling very confident about my choice . Installed 3 weeks ago and can™€™t use it as 5 of the 6 burners are giving us problems. Flame won™€™t adjust on two, 1 doesn™€™t ignite at all, another the flame doesn™€™t encircle completely. We™€™ve tried everything and hope when the technician comes out they can resolve the problems.

I have had this stove for two months, they converted it to propane and I have noticed that it is slower, I cannot fry the food well because they cook since there is no strong flame, I read that the power changes with propane gas but is there some way to fix that and make the kitchen more functional? where I live there is no natural gas

LOVE this stovetop. Its design is chic and fits the aesthetic of my home. Most importantly, it cooks well! Water boils quickly and it has 6 burners of varying sizes (most mid-to-large in size which I find more useful than the small burners). This allows me to cook many things at once which is important to me as I love cooking and its difficult when you have a crowded stove top.

This is a beautiful appliance. It takes about two seconds for the igniter to light the flame. If you have a small saucepan, however, there is not a small enough burner for the flames to hit just underneath the pan. The two middle burners are the smallest ones, and they will send flames close to the sides of the pan. That is the only drawback. A very small sauce pan will have trouble fitting on the grate as it might fall through. But that is just for very small sauce pans. Otherwise, there is enough variety of heat to address any cooking need.

No safety features for knobs

While I love the Rangetop in terms of use, I am very disappointed regarding the knobs. My husband bent down to open a corner cabinet by the Rangetop. His back hit the knobs and it immediately turned on two of the burners. I would not recommend this Rangetop if you have children or animals. It is too easy to walk by and accidentally turn the knobs on. It's definitely a safety hazard.

I love the front left burner which evenly heats my pans with its dual concentric burner. One of the knobs is malfunctioning (very sticky and doesn't turn without grating). The stove is taller than we expected, which is a not ideal for someone who is 5'4". I feel like my elbows are up to my neck as I tend the stove. It would be helpful if the stove height were an inch or two lower, which could easily be accomplished if the stove were designed to take more space in the lower cabinet. The lip of the stove prevented us from lowering it in the installation.

Quality is not the best

We purchased all cafe appliances for home. I love all of them except 36 inch cooktop. We have only had the cooktop a month. Already the finish has come off of the grates. Instead of black, they are now gray. Also, the burners burn the same weather on high or low. For the amount of money that the cooktop is, you would think it would be built better. My previous cooktop - a Jenn-air was 16 years old and the flame output was much more consistent. The grates also never discolored and looked as new as the day we bought it.
